The North East Employee of the Year Awards shortlist has been announced with the very best employees from across the region being invited to a glittering event on November 29 at the Crowne Plaza in Newcastle where they will see who will be crowned winners in each of 10 categories.

The annual event aims to celebrate and reward the talent of employees from across the region in ten categories, including Best Apprentice, Unsung Hero, Team of the Year and the Leadership Award.

There is also a new category for 2019 sponsored by Myndr, The Workplace Wellbeing award. Commenting on the decision to sponsor this category Lizzy Hodcroft said “Myndr is honoured to have opportunity to sponsor or champion those employees that are putting their colleagues wellbeing first.  We need to recognise these unsung champions as they often mould the culture of their workplace.”

Nominations have been received from managers, directors and board members from companies and organisations across the region, recognizing the incredible talent of employees in the North East. Companies such as Tesco Underwriting, Sage and Hays Travel have nominated their employees for awards.
