Where Have We Been? | Bishop Auckland Food Festival
We love to attend events, especially in our local area, and so we were ecstatic to learn that the Bishop Auckland Food Festival was on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April. Anything that involves food is a winner in our eyes.
The Bishop Auckland Food Festival is a Durham County Council event and brings together an abundance of local and UK talent to showcase a fantastic range of food and drink from all corners of the globe, including over 150 street food traders and artisan producers, with some very chic and creative stalls to look at.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for it and the public were out in droves which is a fantastic for local businesses, traders and the town centre.
Not only that, they had live music from local musicians and a live Cookery Theatre with appearances from celebrity chefs such as; Kenny Tutt, Angelica Bell, Greg Wallace and Jennie McAlpine.
It was a brilliant day for all the family, very well organised and we’ll definitely be back next year. Only, next time, we’re going to save room so that we can sample more food!
